Flies

flyThere are many pathogens associated with flies. These can cause disease in both humans and animals such as: hepatitis, typhoid fever, cholera, polio etc. Positive identification is key to solving and eradicating problems.

Flies can spread disease rapidly because they are known to carry bacteria in their feet and mouths. These flies do not transmit diseases by biting but rather the moist materials of food particles that remain in their mouthparts when they feed contain bacteria that will be transferred to a different place where the fly will land to feed or even to rest. Flies like feeding on rotten plants or any decaying matter.
